Christmas Among Friends

This week, I have enjoyed breakfast three mornings with three old friends, and last evening, I shared a meal with two of my longest-standing friends of nearly forty years. This afternoon, I’ll pick up my daughter and her husband at the airport, and from now until Christmas, the laughter of friends and loved ones will fill the walls of my house.  I call it happy chaos.

When all is said and done, Christmas is about sharing God’s love with people we love and those whom Jesus brings across our path, some folks we don’t even know. The very nature of the celebration is found in sharing.

During my life, I’ve enjoyed the privilege of thousands of friendships, each adding something valuable to my life, and I count those of you who read my weekly articles as friends. Some of you I’ve known for years, and others I have not met, but we all share a concern for one another and those around us. Thank you for being part of my life and considering my words worthy of a bit of your time. I pray I’ve added inspiration to your life as well.

May you and yours enjoy a blessed Christmas and a hopeful new year. I hope you sense God’s Presence, no matter your circumstances.

Merry Christmas!

Live Inspired!
